Custom Font Lighting Effects GT Style for Gimp 2.10 Version 0.04

This update provides an option to make custom fonts with lighting effects using different positions on its image (environment) layer. It produces the best results when using larger, colourful images. I have removed the option to select the light source - since they basically produce the same outcome. This means that filter dialog remains the same size as in the previous version.

Two examples to illustrate the point - both using the same background (original size 1894 x 800 px).

The first example uses custom font characters created at a fixed (centred) position with this image.

With some images this would be an ideal way of doing things - but here it fails to use many of the areas of colourful interest in the different areas of the image.

The second example uses the same base font and lighting effects settings but with the random positions options set to 'Yes'.

Please, Skinnyhouse I need your help in this version.
I have problems because the script doesn't recognize my open font. What can it be? Can you give any indication?

The plug-in needs an image layer to apply the effects to the character layers of your custom font file.

Skinnyhouse,

For now just a try with the plug-in, but it worked for me with my gimp!
I must play with this plug-in more often during the rest of the day.

Thanks!
